Joseph Stalin expelled Volga Germans, her paternal grandfathers, to Siberia in the wake of the 1941 deportation. She migrated to West Germany along with her parents, sister, and her 4-year-old brother in the year 1988. Helene went to Frankfurt Stage & Musical School in which she was taught dance, acting and singing for 3 years. Helene Fischer was a performer at the Volkstheater Frankfurt as well as the Staatstheater Darmstadt during this period. Florian Silbereisen is her boyfriend since May 2008. Fischer received her wax statue in October of 2011 in the Berlin Madame Tussauds Museum. Fischer's debut on stage was on a television show on the 14th day of May 2005. The duet was performed by Florian Silbereisen. Later, the two became lovers. They have been awarded 17 Echo Awards, seven Goldene Henne Awards, 3 Bambis and 4 Krone der Volksmusik. All of her albums and DVDs come with multiple gold or double platinum certification. Her songs, telling of daily worries and the worries of families who cherish their home, are close in lyrical content to the country genre but distinct musically.
